My Curtains

One of the first things I did when we actually moved into a house (albeit a townhouse) was to figure out what I wanted to do for window dressings. This was the first time I actually had windows to cover!! So exciting! For my dining room, made this valance. I still have some leftover fabric, so I'm thinking about doing seat cushion covers (in all my spare time hahah!). I didn't realize what a huge undertaking it would be to do these curtains. I like to sew, but I'm not a guru by any means. It took me forever to figure out how to do the ribbing and to make the holders for the tassels. Very fun though. I just hope it fits the windows for future places I'll be living!
